Стратегије балансирања жена између каријере и породице у академској заједници у Србији: разлике у етничком и социјалном пореклу

Сажетак

Иако је суочавање жена са неопходношћу да траже баланс између каријере и породице у академским круговима постало предмет изучавања, структурално решење за овај феномен још увек не постоји. Овај рад има за циљ да утврди да ли су род и етницитет у интерсекцији када је у питању проблем балансирања између каријере и породице, и то на основу приказа наратива жена из мањинске (мађарске) заједнице и већинске (српске) заједнице запослених на универзитетима у Новом Саду и Београду. Квалитативно истраживање засновано је на двадесет полуструктурираних интервјуа, снимљених 2014. и 2015. године. Резултати показују да жене приликом балансирања између каријере и породице користе одређене стратегије да би образложиле своје ставове и одлуке. Оне се ослањају на своје микроокружење, своју породицу и на сопствени начин да би одржале корак са обавезама. Иако се ради о женама које имају исти социо-економски статус, интерсекционална анализа показала је да постоји разлика између стратегија којима се испитанице различитих националности служе како би избалансирале каријеру и породицу, те да њихове различите породичне и животне околности, укључујући и порекло из различитих социјалних слојева, доводе до тога да се у оквиру ове професионалне категорије жена успоставе разлике. Наведене разлике стварају нову неједнакост међу женама у академском свету.
