Препреке и поверење: перцепције здравственог система међу ромским мајкама у Србији

Сажетак
Ово истраживање има за циљ да продуби разумевање препрека и изазова с којима се суочавају ромски родитељи, посебно мајке, у приступу педијатријским услугама у Србији. Истраживање је показало да су лоша доступност и неповерење према здравственом систему, као и културне норме које фаворизују традиционално знање над медицинским саветима кључни фактори који утичу на одлуке ромских мајки у вези са здравственом негом своје деце. Док су педијатријске услуге генерално позитивно оцењене, постоје значајне инфраструктурне препреке, посебно у руралним срединама, које отежавају приступ здравственим установама. Посебна пажња је посвећена важности поверења између здравствених радника и ромских мајки, а педијатри су често виђени као кључни савезници у бризи за здравље деце. Истраживање наглашава потребу како за унапређењем комуникације и културне сензитивности у раду са ромском заједницом, не би ли се побољшало поверење у здравствени систем и унапредили здравствени исходи ромских породица, тако и за уклањањем структурних неједнакости које доприносе негативним искуствима.
