'Хулиган' – 'народни непријатељ' или 'патриотски јунак'. Медијска конструкција фудбалских навијача у Србији

Сажетак

У овом раду настојаћу да покажем на који начин се у савременој Србији конструише медијска слика о фудбалским навијачима као хулиганима, чије деловање производи изразито негативне последице по ширу друштвену заједницу. Основна претпоставка од које полазим јесте постојање терминолошког неспоразума у локалним медијима и међу креаторима јавних политика око дефинисања појма фудбалског навијача. Са једне стране, присутно насиље на фудбалским утакмицама, како вербално тако и конкретно, често се пренебрегава у медијском извештавању. Са друге, о особама из криминалног миљеа, које се често представљају као вође навијача, говори се у сензационалистичким терминима, истовремено их поистовећујући са целим навијачким покретом. Из оваквог парадокса проистиче пре свега креирање таквог дискурса у коме се обрачуни криминалних група поистовећују са насиљем навијача-хулигана. Тако креирани дискурс се из јавности прелива и на поље јавних политика, где се решавање проблема насиља на спортским примедбама суштински перципира као безбедносни проблем који државне институције нису у стању да реше.
