Капитализам који се смањује, 'млечни путеви', и морално уважавање 'живог села' у Србији

Сажетак

Ова етнографска студија случаја, заснована на дугорочном посматрању са
учествовањем, обављеном у Србији, испитује однос између државе и регионалне
економије током трансформације из самоуправног социјализма у касни капитализам.
Смештајући радне односе малих млекарских фарми из централне Србије у шире
моралне и економске односе, студија развија идеју „моралног уважавања“ да би
објаснила начине на које су многа домаћинства која су одустала од производње
млечних производа подржавала – разменом рада, јефтиним изнајмљивањем земље и
хваљењем њихове радиности – ону неколицину која се упустила у производњу.
Морално уважавање означава живљење од обезвређене суштине рада и спасавање
његове вредности у прошлости и садашњости, као и процес адаптације на
капиталистички губитак суштине, који потенцијално има паралеле у многим другим
сферама светске капиталистичке економије.
